Hendrickson McClellan

- Client Hendrickson McClellan (hm-search.com)
- Project Corporate ID, Web Design, Print Collateral
- Role Logo and Print Design, Web Design and Development
Yes it is a family member but no, it’s not charitable. They are paying clients getting the full treatment. This is the most complete identity I have ever designed. There was literally no existing identity because this business is brand new. I started from scratch and have now created a logo, website, brochures, business cards and letterhead. The website is completed, launched and built on WordPress as a CMS. Check the list of links below to get a closer look.

WebChuckWeb

- Client WebChuckWeb (various clientele)
- Project Various Website Designs
- Role Web Design, Flash Design & Development
My old pal WebChuck has been feeding me a lot of little side projects lately. I get to make design comps and leave implementation and development up to him and his team. I still love HTML/CSS implementation but it is nice to do some fun designs every so often. Below is a list of links to some of the designs I have created for WebChuck’s clientele:
InvertSports.com

- Client INVERTSPORTS
- Project Website & Brand Refresh
- Role Web Design and Development, Print Design, Logo Design
Every once in a great while you get to work on a project where you would almost work for free because it is so fun. This was a project of such nature for me. This was the first client for which I shot some digital photography, I completely polished their logo and web presence out, and got to learn how to wake surf behind one of the nicest wakeboarding boats out there. The website is built on Joomla! CMS which allows the client to manage their own content. I have also designed business cards and a brochure as part of this project.

CalPoly Plan A Schedule Application

- Client Cal Poly (University)
- Project Student Schedule Web Application
- Role Interaction Designer, Visual Designer, Markup and CSS
Student schedule building application rebuilt from the ground up. I lead user research with student groups and academic advisors (peer and faculty) to fine tune the user task flow. My deliverables included HTML/CSS/Image prototypes. The Cal Poly development group made excellent use of AJAX and JAVA to tie it all together and make it functional. See application (as a Guest, limited functionality) at: http://pass.calpoly.edu/
Portal and Webapp Skinning
- Client Unicon, Inc.
- Project Customized skins Created for various universities, colleges and other higher education institutions (uPortal, Sakai, Academus Portal)
- Role Skin/Theme Design & Implementation
I have created almost countless numbers of customized skins for the various portal/LMS applications that Unicon supports. The list of links below is a sampling of some of the mockups I created for these skins. Most of the designs were/are being used by the institutions they were designed for. One or two are the versions that I wished the client had chosen but did not for some reason or another (many educational institutions design by committee). The Unicon University mockups are skins with customized content that I implemented for a sales demo used at conferences and for client presentations.
