What A Great Day

February 8th, 2007

This day was certainly exciting for in my realm of reality despite having working while sick and having had to sit through a snoozer of a training meeting at work. Here is the breakdown of why this day rocked. First, LOST! Our friends on the island came back to begin their run of new episodes. Second, U.S. vs. Mexico in soccer (football), played right here in my backyard at the Cardinal’s new stadium in Glendale. Third, Scion unveiled two new models which were a revamped xB and a new model, the xD, to replace the xA. Add on fajitas for dinner to this mix and it was a great day overall.

Each of these events definitely merits their own post so I will be posting throughout the day as I have time.

Twins Are Cool

February 6th, 2007
Hand in hand

It is kind of cool having identical twin sons. We had them at the dentist recently and the he commented that their teeth were the same. They had identical spacing and such with their teeth. Interesting. The photo was taken by my wife for class and I helped with the post processing (photoshoppery!).

Four Eyes (Follow Up)

February 1st, 2007

Here i am. Me, my glasses, and few of the culprits behind my need for them: CRT monitor, Laptop LCD monitor, and (quite fittingly) Macromedia Studio MX. Phone camera photography is fun but the quality is just atrocious. Sorry.

Getting Organized

January 29th, 2007

Posts and categories are a little scattered at the moment because I started putting posts in for filler content while I customized my theme.  I will be getting organized this week.  Promise.

Four Eyes

January 28th, 2007

All of this computer work has finally caught up to me.  I just had my first ever eye exam yesterday and apparently I would benefit from some “readers” for my “near-work.”  Translation, I need reading glasses when I am on the computer or reading, so that’s pretty much all day excpet for when I am driving to and from work.  While I could have just gotten those over-the-counter reading glasses from the pharmacy, I opted for using the vision insurance that I am already paying for and ordered some sweet frames.  So much for being proud of my perfect vision.
